Alec Baldwin Charged with Manslaughter Following Rust Shooting
Actor Alec Baldwin has now officially been charged with manslaughter following the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the western movie, Rust.
The first rule of gun safety is never to point a gun at someone you don’t intend on shooting,” reads the statement,
T“Baldwin drew the revolver from the holster, pointed it at Halyna Hutchins, and fired the weapon,” the affidavit from Robert Shilling, an investigator with the First Judicial District Attorney’s office, reads.
Alec Baldwin and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed have both been charged with two counts each of involuntary manslaughter following the incident on the set of Rust. They will not be arrested; the district attorney’s office has confirmed.
